Celebrating Innovation: Award Recognition for Our PICEA™ wood Tube

The PICEA™ wood tube is more than just a packaging: it represents our commitment to nature and environmental responsibility. Made from over 95% renewable resources, it features a blend of 10% spruce wood and 85% sugar-based materials. The spruce wood is sourced from certified forests in the European Union, specifically from sawdust waste generated by German joineries. This is the only sustainable tube solution with the feel of the integrated sustainable material: the fine wood flour gives the surface of the tube a slightly rough feel.

The PICEA™ wood tube offers a 40% improved CO2 balance compared to traditional polyethylene (PE) tubes while maintaining high standards in barrier properties, decoration, food suitability, and recyclability, ensuring consumer safety and environmental friendliness. It has received Ecocert and Cosmos certifications and is classified as food grade in the European Union.

The Liebwerk toothpaste complements our three models of Swiss wooden toothbrushes  on the shelves, forming a unique dental care set that is 100% made in Switzerland.
